“空豆 平成27年”
空豆はうす紫の花弁に
黒い斑紋のある白い花を咲かせる。
豆は丸ではなく楕円形で
真中がくびれている。
端には黒いおはぐろと
呼ばれる部分があり、なんとも愛らしい。
空に向って豆菓（さや）がつくため
空豆と呼ばれている。

Broad Bean (2015, by Katsuji Wakisaka)
The broad bean has light purple petals and
blooms with white flowers that come with black spots.
The bean is oval-shaped rather than round-shaped,
and pinched in the middle.
It has a black area at the edge,
called the "o-haguro", which means blackened teeth,
and is quite lovely.
As the broad bean's pods grow towards the sky,
it is also called "soramame" (sky bean)in Japanese.

Les fleurs de fèves ont des pétales mauves
et blanches tâchées de noir.
Les haricots sont de forme ovale et non ronde,
resserrés au centre de la cosse.
La partie noire sur l’extrémité que l’on appelle
Kuroi o Haguro, a quelque chose de mignon.
Parce que les cosses poussent vers le ciel,
les fèves s’appellent « Sora mame » en japonais.

是淺紫色花瓣上有著黑色斑點的白色花朵
豆子並非圓形而是橢圓形

尾端被稱為黑牙齒的部分 看來有些可愛

are often used in textile design.
I combine the two motifs together to make this pattern.
The flowers are shining like stars
and it creates pop atmosphere that

必ず目にする間取り図。
玄関、フローリングのダイニングキッチン
畳敷きの居間、カーペット敷きの
寝室と頭の中で想像しながら
見ていく。
間取りを見ていると
新しい住まいでの生活に
胸がふくらんでくる。

When you are looking for a place to live,
you will have to look at the floor plan.
Images of porch, wooden floor of the dining room and kitchen,
tatami room and carpeted bedroom
will become vivid when looking at the floor plan.

Quand on recherche une maison,
on tombe machinalement sur un plan.
L’entrée, le revêtement de la salle à manger,
le salon en tatami, la chambre à coucher avec moquette,
que l’on s’imagine en allant la voir…

de notre nouvelle vie qui commence.

La barbe à papa ne va pas sans nous rappeler
les festivals d'été ainsi que les magasins ouverts le soir.
La chaleur des festivals et le bruit des marchés

tout en nous plongeant dans une atmosphère nostalgique.

聞きなれない言葉かもしれないが
これは大和言葉のひとつ。
「きざ」は刻む。
「はし」は橋で２ヶ所をつなぐ。
「きざはし」は
２つの地点を ギザギザと
続く道という意味。

Kizahashi may be an unfamiliar word, which is one of the classical Japanese language.
Kiza, literally means cut or inscribe;
Hashi, means to pave a bridge to join two roads end to end.

食物で何が好きかと問われれば
茄子と答える。
煮物もいいし田楽は最高。
ぬか漬けも好きだ。
茄子紺といわれる
少し紫がかった紺色も好きで
服は白か茄子紺を好んで着ている。
母も茄子が好きだった。

"What is your favorite food?"
If I am asked, I will say "nasu (eggplants)"
They are good eaten stewed, and dengaku( grilled eggplants with sweet miso paste) are amazing.
I like nukazuke ( rice-bran pickles) too.
I like the color called "nasu-kon" which is purplish navy blue, and I often wear the colors nasu-kon or white by preference.
My mother also liked eggplants.

S’il m’est demandé quelle serait ma nourriture préférée,
je répondrais les aubergines.
Marinées, elles sont délicieuses.
Grillées avec du miso, elles sont excellentes.

怒濤とは 荒れ狂う 大波、
激しく打ち寄せる波。
「怒濤のごとき快進撃」のように
圧倒的な勢いを表わす言葉として
使われることが多い。

Doto, or angry waves, means swell or surging waves.
It’s a commonly used metaphor to describe overwhelming power.
For example, we can say,
“Great advice as unstoppable as angry waves”.

Yosegi-zaiku or wooden mosaic is a type of traditional Japanese parquetry that cut and glue timbers of different grains, textures and colors together to form patterns.
It is commonly used to decorate handicraft works such as boxes, drawers and plates.
Isn’t yosegi-zaiku a detailed and fascinating art?

とうがらしの一種だが
肉厚で辛味がなく甘い品種。
赤、オレンジ、黄、緑と
カラフルな色で目も楽しませてくれる。
暑い時に食べると
歯ごたえの良さと適度な甘みが
元気を与えてくれる。

Normally it is called paprika.
Although it is one of the tougarashi (capsicum),
it's thick, and sweet taste not spicy.
Red, orange, yellow and green.
It is fun to just see.
When you eat it in a hot day,
It gives you vital with its light crunchy texture and modest sweetness.

“織部 平成27年”
千利休の弟子であった大名茶人
古田織部の指導で創始された。
織部好みの奇抜で斬新な形、
文様の茶器が大量につくられた。
渋いものが好まれる日本の陶器
としては珍しく大胆なもので
その印象は強烈。
傾き者、古田織部にふさわしい面白さがある。

"Oribe ware"（2015,by Katsuji Wakisaka）
Oribe is a visual style named after Furuta Oribe, a pupil of Sen no Rikyū (the foremost tea master), under whose guidance it was first produced.
The unique shapes and vivid patterns were manufacture in large quantities according to Oribe’s taste.
Oribe ware introduced a truly new and bold vision to a ceramics tradition that had previously favored somber, monochrome designs.
As a “kabuki mono” (who dares to be different), Oribe create a unique aesthetic sensibility to express his fascinating personality.

Oribe est un style visuel nommé d'après Furita Orobe, un élève de Sen no Rikyū (grand maître de cérémonie de thé), qui fut réalisé pour la première fois sous ses ordres.
Avec des formes uniques, des ustensiles de thé à motifs divers furent produits en masse en accord avec Oribe.
Ses créations furent présentées comme des œuvre rares et audacieuses, en contraste avec les céramiques traditionnelles, plus sombres et simplistes.
En tant qu'artiste original, Oribe a créé sa propre sensibilité afin d'exprimer sa personnalité fascinante.

古田織部指導生産出的大量茶碗，

森へ散歩に出かける。
木もれびを あびながら
落葉をふみしめて 歩いていく。
いろんな草や葉、きのこや苔などを
目に入れながら
久しぶりの森の散歩を楽しむ。
心が解放され 体も軽く
なってくる。

The forest takes me for a quiet walk in the autumn day.
The sun dully shone through the tree branches.
Stepping on those beautiful dry leaves,
I look down the plants,
leaves, and mushrooms and mosses,
a moment of harmony, an instant of calm.

Nous sortons faire une promenade en forêt,
En cette période de plus en plus automnale.
Sous la lumière perçant les feuillages des arbres,
