It stars to rain in June.We begin to transplant young rice-plants from a rice nursery to a rice field. Sanae (sprouts of rice) are planted on the field with full of water like polka dots. That looks fresh and charming. They will survive the summer heat, and then have a rich golden harvest of rice in autumn. The field has plenty of water, which makes lush and beautiful landscape.
Japan is called the Land of Rice-plants that comes from this landscape.

June's confection from Kyoto has ginger taste. You will enjoy refreshing sharp taste of ginger matching well with sweetness of white bean paste even when it is damp and rainy day.
Candied ginger peel is put on the top to provide tangy flavor.

We serve a cup of green matcha tea (or choice of coffee) and our wagashi based on our textile design.
