“The long-awaited return of domestic production!”

Marugo Co., Ltd. was founded in Kurashiki, Okayama Prefecture in 1919, a footwear maker which has a history of more than 90 years. In 1917, Marugo started its footwear business by producing "sewing type tabi shoes" which uses the tires of the rickshaw as a material.

This is Marugo Co., Ltd.'s first domestically produced Tabi Shoes, revived after a 40-year hiatus. The fabric and sole used in body make this a completely new, high-quality Tabi Shoes for the Heisei era, befitting the revival of domestic production.
