What is Kisaragi Poncho?The design idea is derived from the outer (kisaragi) that can be worn in early spring when cold weather still remains. It is also a synonym of the second month of the lunar calendar. ・Tie-dyed by Konsei Tie-dye, a technique inherited from Arimatsu Narumi Tie-dye which boasts over 400 years of history.・As the nature of handmade products, the color of each piece may vary depending on the dyeing tank.・Made of strongly compressed felted wool fabric which is warm and thick.・You can also wear it on top of a kimono. ※There may be a unique smell of dyes at the beginning, but it has no harmful effect on human body.After drying for a while in a well-ventilated area, the smell will gradually disappear.※Due to the nature of handmade products, pattern placement and color intensity on the each product differs from one another.
