Made use of "Kata-age"(shoulder tuck) design, which was commonly applied on kimonos, for the ease of sleeve length adjustment.
"Kata-age" also means "still growing". The vest is made of matelasse which is woven by double weave looms and has a quilted appearance, and then dyed with Kyoto-style Yuzen technique.
