Tanabata Sticker and Postcard

“7/7: Tanabata, the Festival of the Bamboo”
Tanabata is one of the ‘Five Festivals’ that mark the Japanese seasons. A custom dating back to the Nara period, it is celebrated on the evening of 7 July each year by hanging strips of paper inscribed with wishes and colourful decorations from bamboo leaves, and offering prayers to the stars. At SOU・SOU, we have created ‘Tanabata Stickers & Postcards’ inspired by bamboo leaf decorations so that you can enjoy Tanabata in a relaxed way. We hope you will stick the wish-bearing strip stickers onto the postcards and display them wherever you like.
