・Tabi socks are produced in Yamato Takada City in Nara Prefecture boasting the largest socks production in Japan. 【About blend ratio and comfort of products】 This product uses 30th cotton thread for the main body. For toe portion polyester is blended for reinforcement. Also, we use 1% polyurethane on the back to increase stretchability. Since Avilas (nylon thread) is used for the handle part, the blending ratio of nylon with respect to the cotton of the main body changes depending on the design (the notation of the net indicates the average value). Depending on the pattern sizes, the elongation rate will change slightly and the comfort will be slightly different. Please note that there is no problem with the quality. 【About shrinkage】 The 1% polyurethane used in the backing yarn of this product will shrink slightly when washed. The AVILAS (nylon yarn) used in the patterned part is finer than the cotton yarn used in the main body, so it is affected by the shrinkage of the polyurethane.Therefore, it is said that the patterns which used many AVILAS (nylon thread) have a higher tendency of shrinkage (However, the elasticity is almost unchanged before washing). Please acknowledge that the level of shrinkage can be different after washing because the area of nylon thread to be used depends on the pattern.
