The range of countless red leaves shining under the sun in late autumn. That makes me excited. I am overwhelmed by the power of life, burning the last bit energy before the day winter comes. Have momiji(autumn leaves) turned red already in that temple? How red are they now? I am wondering and cannot wait to go momiji gari.(leaf peeping).
霜月の京旬菓は、白いんげん豆の餡に栗を混ぜました。栗は日本の秋を代表する食物のひとつと言えます。 上には甘く煮た栗を乗せました。

November's confection from Kyoto is made of white kidney bean paste mixed with chestnuts. A chestnut is one of the typical Japanese autumn food. We stewed it with sugar and topped on this confection.

We serve a cup of green matcha tea (or choice of coffee) and our wagashi based on our textile design.
