「あさぶら」とは…
その昔、坂道の多い瀬戸（愛知県）で職人さんが作業しやすいように、草履の裏に麻を縫い付けた事から「麻裏（あさうら）と呼ばれるようになりました。
昭和になって自転車が普及し、裏に縫い付けられていた麻が自転車のタイヤへと変化し、その頃、呼び名も「あさうら」から「あさぶら」へと変化したといわれています。
・草履の一大産地である、奈良県御所市で生産。
・70～85歳の職人の方が数名で作っておられます。
・鼻緒にはオリジナルテキスタイルを使用しております。
・表には墨染した竹皮を使用しております。
※最初のうちは鼻緒がきつく感じられる場合がございますが、履いているうちに鼻緒が伸びて足に馴染んでまいります。
※天然素材を使用しているため、水分、湿気、汗にはご注意ください。カビの原因となります。
※底面には自転車のタイヤを使用しておりますので、初めのうちはゴムの臭いが致しますが徐々に消えます。
