This haori features gathered ciffs, a design element once used in the formal attire of court nobles. The gathered sleeves allow for easier movement. What is "Ken" (mid-length)? It means the "in-between" length of coats or jackets. The length between short length and long length = length that hides your knees. ・承知しました👇 --- ## **中文** 施以京都絞染職人田端先生所作的雪花絞染。 --- ## **English** Dyed with the *sekka-shibori* technique by Kyoto shibori craftsman Tabata. ・Made of cotton x linen striped fabric. ・Linen is said to be the "coolest fiber" among natural fibers. It is a material best suited for hot and humid seasons. ・Can also be worn on top of a kimono. ・It is an outer without lining. ・Uses original decorative braids that are manufactured by Showen Kumihimo on the sleeves and the front. ・The sleeves can be adjusted by tightening the decorative strings. ・With side pockets ※Due to the nature of handmade products, pattern placement and color intensity on the each product differs from one another.
