What is Kisaragi Poncho?
The design idea is derived from the outer (kisaragi) that can be worn in early spring when cold weather still remains. It is also a synonym of the second month of the lunar calendar.
What is "shoulder tuck"...
It is a wisdom of kimono where the sleeve length can be adjusted by making tucks at the shoulders. It also means "the person is still growing".
・The "hollow out shoulder tuck" design is derived from kariginu (informal clothes worn by the nobles from the Heian period) .
・This fabric uses Italian-made Super 120's wool ( woven from fibers sourced from Merino wool which diameter has only 17.5 microns).
・It is designed to be worn with the attached obijime (braided string) through the hole in the body.
・In the waist band and cuff part , we use the original braided strings produced by Showen Kumihimo company.
・You can also wear it over a Kimono.
