It is a characteristic of Isemomen Cotton.※As a characteristic of Kyoto-style Yuzen, the fabric is printed by repeating the stencil on a plain fabric. As a result, lines called "Katakuchi" may inevitably appear at places where the stencil joins.＞ About "Katakuchi" ※Japanese tenugui / handkerchiefs are often left un-hemmed at the ends to promote quick drying. There will be some minor fraying, but it will stop as you wash and use it.
