What is “Long Fubi Kimono Shirt”?
Fubi kimono shirt is the upper part of SOU・SOU style two-piece kimomo. Designed as a daily wear in modern lives, the name "Fubi" comes from the Japanese idiom "Issei Fubi", which means being a great hit in an era.
・Made from 100% cotton Ponte Fabric (Interlock Knitting).
Ponte Fabric = Double jersey woven on a double-sided machine. It is a lightweight, comfortable and smooth fabric that does not easily wrinkle.
・It does not stretch around the collar.
・Two pockets (on both sides)
There is a thin batting in the collar part.
※During the finishing process, the garment was ironed which produced a sheen around the seams of the collar and that between the body and the sleeves (the fibres are flattened and reflect light better). The sheen will disappear after washing.
