Made from fabric before bleaching, which whitens the material, this scarf features a simple, natural cotton color. Five red threads woven into the selvedge mark SOU・SOU’s custom ordered Isemomen fabric; this design is called “Shimabun.” Layer 2 scarves for extra volume or warmth.
Isemomen is carefully woven from Japan’s finest pure cotton yarn using traditional methods and Meiji-era looms, producing only about 13 m per loom each day. Washing removes the starch and softens the fabric, creating its signature gentle feel.
