A jinbaori is a garment worn by samurai on the battlefield.
“Kata-age” is…
Kata-age is a traditional method of sewing up the shoulder area to adjust the sleeve length (yuki) of kimono. It also expresses the idea that a child “will continue to grow.”
・Uses a sheer linen–Japanese paper blended fabric.
・Linen is said to be the "coolest fiber" among natural fibers. It is a material best suited for hot and humid seasons.
・The shoulder and haori cords are made using specially commissioned braided cords by Shōen Kumihimo.
