What is "Kumi" bi-color ?
The design of pairing up two different colors or fabrics looks like "kigumi", the craft of jointing wood in wooden architecture in Japan, when viewed from the sides.
・Uses a knit fabric with a fleeced lining.
・Bi-color sleeve design.
・1 pocket with the SO-SU-U pattern.(Hand-printed with Kyoto Stencil Yuzen Dyeing.)
・"Kataage (Tucks at shoulders)" technique is applied on the shoulder part of the top.
What is "shoulder tuck"...
It is a wisdom of kimono where the sleeve length can be adjusted by making tucks at the shoulders. It also means "the person is still growing".
※As the child grows bigger, the sleeves can be made longer by modifying the width of the tucks, thus allowing the clothes to be worn for a longer time.
※Pattern placement on the pocket of this product differs from one another due to the manufacturing process. Customers cannot specify the print.
