What is ”Hatsuki”...?
Hatsuki＝Clothing on top
The design is inspired by the summer attire worn by the ladies serving the court in the Muromachi Period.
・We use linen fabric processed in the Enshu region of western Shizuoka Prefecture, one of the fabric-producing areas.
・Linen is said to be the "coolest fiber" among natural fibers. It is a material best suited for hot and humid seasons.
・With continuous use, it will become softer and gives a sheen unique to linen.
・Uses "Kohaze" (slide hook closure) closure strings to replace button holes.
・Uses braided buttons.
・Kimono sleeve design
※This item has been washed and processed, resulting in small to large wash wrinkles throughout the fabric.
