This is a woven item with an Ainu folk costume as its motif. Its distinctive feature is a sleeve made by folding a single piece of fabric.
It means short length in Japanese.
・A design inspired by the technique of joining together broken pieces of different ceramics to create a form [Yobitsugi tea bowl].
・The fabric is made from 20/20 Isemomen cotton, a traditional textile from Tsu City, Mie Prefecture, Japan, woven with pre-dyed yarns.
・It is finished with a one-wash treatment.
• The hem and cuffs use the selvage of the fabric.
・Pockets on both sides.
• It can also be worn over kimono.
・Uses haori cords made originally by Showen Kumihimo.
・It is an outer without lining.
