■Product description
What is "Skinny Pants (Enyuu-Baki)"?
The word originates from the fact that in the Meiji period, Sanyutei En-yuu III wore a white crotch band under his kimono when he performed the troupe trick "Steteko Odori". This type of pants is also known as "steteco".
・Made from Takashima Chizimi 20/20 circular fabric by Sakae Textile.
"20/20" means the fabric is woven using 20-count yarn for both the warp and weft.
Fabric feel: Similar to a lightweight shirt fabric that can be worn all year round.
(The higher the number, the finer the yarn and thinner the fabric.)
・Dyed using traditional Kyoto Stencil Yuzen dyeing.
・Perfect as an inner layer for yukata or worn under a "Fubi."
・Elastic waistband with a drawstring for easy size adjustment.
・The waistband features [BB Waffle®], a fabric that resists twisting and creasing.
・Two pockets on the sides.
※Please note that the pattern placement may vary slightly from piece to piece. Custom pattern placement requests cannot be accepted.
※As the product is hand-screen printed, slight misalignments may occur in the design.
※Due to the nature of the dyeing process, slight color variations or fading may occur.
※Although the same color name is used, the color may vary slightly depending on the material, as shades can differ.
【About Chizimi Cotton】
・It has a long production history since the Edo period in Takashima City, Shiga-Prefecture, and is made from strongly twisted yarn which provides a sharp and creped touch.
・As the crepe texture minimizes the touching surfuce and lets sweats vaporize easily, sensible temperature is said to be minus 2 degrees.
・Excellent performances in Sweat absorbing · Quick drying · Air permeability · Hygroscopicity · Moisture release.
・Takashima chizimi cotton, which has benefited from the natural resources of Lake Biwa, boasts the highest production in Japan.
*For Takashima-shuku 20/20 circular knit fabric, due to the nature of Dye processing, there may be slight differences in shrinkage depending on the color/with Patterns.
【Features of Chizimi Cotton's Dyestarted from 10:00 on Thursday, April 16th.】

When dyeing Chizimi Cotton, color may not be able to penetrate deeply into the creped part of fabric..

The Circulor washing processed fabric used in this product has elasticity (Elongation Rate: about 120%), making it easy to move in and comfortable to wear.
