What is "Nino Pleated"?
It means the folds of Hakama pants. Folds are counted from the sides to the center of the pants, and are named as "Ichino fold", "Nino fold", etc.
Since there are two pleats on each side, this design is named “Ni-no-Hida (Second Pleat).”
“What is ‘Tsubomi’ (Bud)”…
The name comes from the way the hem is folded and gathered, resembling a flower bud.
