What is "Fubi" kimono style?
A two-part kimono in SOU・SOU style. As a modern everyday wear, it is named "Fubi" which contains the idea of "conquering the world in a lifetime".
What is "Bi-color"?
Clothes with different patterns and colors on the right and left halves or parts. It is a design that has existed before Muromachi and was popular during the Momoyama period.
※This product is made of textiles with glitter / pigment.
・Using Chizimi Cotton 40/40 embossed fabric made by Sakao Orimono.
About the texture of fabric: around the thickness of a light shirt.
(The higher the count number, the finer the yarn and the thinner the woven fabric is.)
・Hand-printed with Kyoto Stencil Yuzen Dyeing.

There is a thin batting in the collar part.
・It is also recommended to wear matching Fubi Kimono Shirt and Pants as an alternative to yukata.
※Pattern placement of this textile design product differs from one another due to the manufacturing process. Customers cannot specify the print.
※Because it is Kyoto Stencil Yuzen dyeing (hand stencil printing), slight misalignment of the pattern may appear—this is a characteristic of the dyeing method.
Due to the dyeing process, there may be pattern seams known as “katakuchi.”>About Katakuchi
【About Chizimi Cotton】
・Produced in Takashima City, Shiga Prefecture, with a long history dating back to the Edo period. Strongly twisted weft yarn creates a distinctive crepe texture that feels cool and breathable.
・Because the textured surface reduces contact with the skin and allows moisture to evaporate easily, it is said to lower the perceived temperature by about 2°C.
・Excellent sweat absorption, quick-drying, breathability, moisture absorption, and moisture release properties.
・Takashima chizimi cotton, which has benefited from the natural resources of Lake Biwa, boasts the highest production in Japan.
【About dyeing Chizimi Cotton】

When dyeing Chizimi Cotton, color may not be able to penetrate deeply into the creped part of fabric.
The embossed fabric used in this product has elasticity (rate: about 135%), making it easy to move in and comfortable to wear.
Due to emboss processing (an embossing process that gives uneven crepe-like pattern) , the frayed thread may be twisted and popped out. This is not a defect and can be fixed by cutting away the popped threads.

• Please use a laundry net when washing.
• Hand washing is not recommended because it has weak water resistance, and there is a risk that the dye will dissolve in the water and transfer or stain other items, so please avoid it.
• Spot cleaning is also not recommended.
・To avoid the risk of dye migration, please use a neutral detergent and hang dry in the shade immediately after washing. Do not soak.
• Because color fading may occur, wash separately from white or light-colored items.
• To preserve the crinkled texture, please avoid using an iron.
• During wear, color may transfer to other items due to friction, etc.
• After washing, the material may shrink slightly depending on its properties. Please reshape it and dry it without putting stress on the sewn areas.
• Please avoid using a tumble dryer.
