Marimomen is a female tie-dye unit consisting of Nagoya University of Arts graduates Yu Ito and Minori Muraguchi. By combining traditional techniques with vibrant, modern colors, their work opens up NEW possibilities for the historic Arimatsu Narumi Shibori.

This traditional cotton tie-dyeing, crafted in the historic Arimatsu and Narumi areas of Aichi Prefecture, is a nationally recognized Japanese craft. The intricate patterns are not only beautiful but also come in a wide variety, showcasing centuries of craftsmanship.
