This design originates from a style devised by James Brudenell, the 7th Earl of Cardigan—the third rank of Britain’s five noble titles.
What is "Rectangular Sleeve Coat"…
This haori features gathered ciffs, a design element once used in the formal attire of court nobles. The gathered sleeves allow for easier movement.
・Outer Fabric material is made of wool Twill Knit fabric.
・The lining uses Toray’s functional “SAP®” fabric, which offers excellent moisture absorption and quick-drying properties, and is hand-printed.
・With decorative sleeve strings produced by Showen Kumihimo.
・Uses braided buttons.
・The sleeves can be adjusted by tightening the decorative strings.
