地上から天上へ向けてむくむくむくと涌き上がる。
夏のエネルギーに満ちた空気が
爆発を起こすように立ちのぼっていく。
生命力に満ちた力強い躍動が続いていく。
波のように竜のように花のように
姿を変え形を変えて広がっていく。

Summer air,
Full of energy,
Leap up from the burning ground.
Powerfully, like an explosion,
Bang. Bang. Bang!
Blow up into various shape of waves, falls and flowers.

Un air d'été, plein d'énergie, Les vapeurs surgissent du sol en fusion.
Puissantes, comme une explosion, Elles continuent de s'élever. Tel une vague, une cascade, une fleur Elles changent de formes et d'apparences.

“立夏 平成25年”
春がようやく終わり野山に新緑が目立ち
風もさわやかになってきた。
少しずつだけれど夏の気配が
あちこちに感じられてくる。
お弁当を持って野や山へ遊びに行きたい季節。

As spring fades away,
Fields are bathed in summer's ray.
Early summer signs,
here and there.
Fresh green leaves cover hills,
Light breeze blowing through the azure sky.

Laissant place à la verdure des cultures
Ainsi qu'aux douces brises estivales.
Peu à peu, les signes avant-coureurs de l'été

“春分 平成25年”
白と黒が半分ずつ
光と闇が半分ずつ
昼と夜が半分ずつ
春分の日はそういう日です。
そして、いよいよ本格的な春が
来つつあると実感できる日でもあります。

万物が清らかで生き生きしはじめるころ。
入学や卒業、就職、引越しといったころでもある。
出会いや別れ、旅立ちなど
人生のドラマが待っている季節でもある。

Spring in the air,
Refreshing and clear.
Spring on the ground,
Bright and vivid.
Flowers begin to bloom,
All living things recover their vitality.
It’s the season of graduation, beginning of term, start of work and removal.
And also, an eventful period marked by encounters, separations or travel.

C'est également la rentrée des classes, le début de l'année pour les entreprises ainsi que la saison des déménagements.
Une période riche en évènements, marquée par des rencontres, des séparations ou encore des voyages.

“立春 平成25年”
節分の次の日が立春。文字のとおり春が立つという意味。
しかしニ月のこの時期は一年で一番寒い季節かもしれない。
それでも梅の花が開きはじめ春がそこまで
来ていることを感じる季節。
立春は春を待つ心が浮き立つ節目でもある。

"Risshun / First day of spring" （2013,by Katsuji Wakisaka）
Risshun, which falls in early February, is the first day of spring in the traditional Japanese calendar.
The beginning of February is the coldest time of year.
Plum trees bloom during this period,
trying to tell us that a new spring is just around the corner.
Risshun is this day of the year that cheers up anyone waiting for Spring to come.

"RISSHUN / Premier jour du printemps"(2013,par Katsuji Wakisaka)
Le lendemain de la fête du Setsubun est le premier jour officiel du printemps.
Comme son nom l'indique, le printemps (春 Haru) se lève (立 Ritsu).
Toutefois, Février est peut-être le mois le plus froid de l'année.
Quand bien même, les fleurs de pruniers commencent à bourgeonner pour signifier l'arrivée prochaine du printemps.
Risshun est cet événement de l'année qui exalte les cœurs de ceux qui attendent le printemps.

立春随节分而至。
“立”是“开始”的意思，一年四季从此开始。
早春二月，乍暖还寒。
料峭中花开两朵素艳的梅，
忽闻暗香才觉春意已近。
每年过了立春，
心中才涌出对春天的翘盼。

“根菜 平成25年”
土の中で育つ野菜にもいろんなものがある。
オレンジ色のにんじん
土色のじゃがいも ごぼう
赤紫のさつまいも
白いにんにく 大根 などなど。
形も細長いものから
真丸いものまで多種多様。
共通しているのは
根っこだから重いことだろうか。
これで一年間の野菜シリーズも終り。
始める前は苦労するのではないかと思っていたが
意外と楽しく作ることができた。

Root Vegetables (2013, by Katsuji Wakisaka)
There are many different vegetables that grow in the soil.
Orange carrots,
earth-colored potatoes and burdocks,
sweet potatoes in reddish purple,
garlic and radishes in white color, and so on.
There is also a wide variety of shapes,
from long, slender to ball-shaped.
What they all have in common is that
they are heavy because they are planted by the roots.
This comes to the end of the year-long vegetable series.
Before I started, I thought it would be hard work,
but it was surprisingly enjoyable.

Légume-racine (2013 par Katsuji Wakisaka)
Il existe de nombreuses variétés de légumes qui poussent dans le sol.
La carotte orange,
la pomme de terre couleur du sol, la bardane,
la patate douce violette
l’ail, le radis blanc, et j’en passe.
De forme allongée
ou bien rond, il y en a de toutes sortes.
Leur similitude ne serait-elle pas le poids, dû aux racines?
C’est la fin de la série des légumes de l’année.
Avant de commencer, j’ai cru que j’aurais eu des difficultés
mais, étonnamment, c’était très amusant à réaliser.

在土壤中孕育的蔬菜有很多種
橘色的紅蘿蔔
土色的馬鈴薯、牛蒡
紫紅色的地瓜
白色的蒜頭、白蘿蔔等
從細長到圓形 形狀各式各樣
共通點都是根部所以很有份量
到此 為期一年的蔬菜系列結束
開始前我以為這會是一件辛苦的工作
但種植過程卻出乎意料地令人愉快

“雨の精 平成25年”
明かるい空から雨粒が落ちてくる。
光があふれた日なのに雨が降っている。
きらきら輝く雨粒が
花のように見えたり
星のように見えたりする。
雨の精が降りてきているのだろうか。
